Located in a brown-brick building in Park Avenue on the southeast corner at 96th, this one-of-a-kind Manhattan apartment has two lucky features: oversized windows and lots of natural light. The client -with a special sensibility for the masters in furniture design- had a certain nostalgia of his young years, the 60’s. With this in mind, the commission was to come up with a clean rather comfortable living room rich in sinuous shapes and color. Anonymous elements coexist with other recognizable ones such as the Barcelona chair or the Platner Side chair – upholstered in ivory to match the carpet. A tribute to modern design both American and European.
